Round-the-World Style

This is the home of Williams-Sonoma home designer Monelle Totah. It's the six-floor of a double townhouse in San Francisco, and she travels throughout the world on a regular basis to find inspiration for the company.

Though it's all incredibly sophisticated, it's the gray wall color I can't get enough of. My mum has always been a champion for gray walls and the living room of our old home was done in a deep dove gray; these walls were based on La Petite Maison, a dealer's show room at the famous Paris flea market, and were painted five times to achieve the hue.
