The Genius of Sam Haskins

Continuing my love of the New York Times (and apparantly black and white photography), one of my favorite images ever, posted along with a great video on The Moment. Sam Haskins is one of my favorite fashion photographers and has done some beyond-amazing work in his long and illustrious career - shooting for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, New York, and Allure. He was recently in town to promote a new book, called "Fashion Etcetera," the first in nearly twenty years. An exhibition is on view at Milk Gallery through October 26

Unfortunately Mr. Haskins recently suffered a moderate stroke, so all the best wishes to him and his family.
