While not particularly my style, these three ladies really show how amazing it is when you create truly unique ensembles. Brava to all!

Arthur Elgort shot this spread for the American Vogue October issue; Grace Coddington styled, and though I'm not much of a fan of Karlie Kloss, some of these images (i.e. three and seven) are among the best they've published all year

I'm smitten with these prints - the porcupine in particular is so adorable I can't stop returning to it (full disclosure: I may or may not have made it my computer background).

You know how everyone always talks about how gorgeous and shocking Schiaparelli pink is? (She herself described it as “life-giving, like all the light and the birds and the fish in the world put together, a color of China and Peru but not of the West.”)
David Bellemére shot this gorgeous, soft, romantic, slightly wacky spread for the October 2009 issue

A while back Marie Claire did a spread featured the pieces Sophia Coppola designed for Louis Vuitton. They were really rich looking all American classics, and MC did a lovely spread honoring those qualities. Here are a few photos I especially love

Sometimes I'm struck by how much I really love it here. It took a little adjusting but I think I'm here to stay. . . for a while at least.

The ever-chic Mary Kate Steinmiller, editor in the accessories department at Teen Vogue.
This model, whose blog has been featured on Vogue.com and many others, sure knows how to strike a pose. She's totally beautiful, totally glamorous. About this little ensemble she says ITS SO OVERLY DIVINE AND SO OVERLY INAPPROPRIATE. I THINK IT'S JUST OVERLY FRENCH AND I'M DIGGIN' ON IT. NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED OR THE MIDWEST BUT DEFINITELY FOR A DAY IN PARIS.
