I have many girl crushes - which I'm sure I'll describe at a later date, and in much greater detail - but Lucky has compiled a list of their very own. The usual suspects were listed there, but I thought these photographs of Brigitte Bardot, Claudia Schiffer, and Kate Moss were particularly beautiful too.

The Summer of Fashion

The Richard Avedon retrospective is soon to open at the International Center of Photography in Manhattan. It's will definitely be a must-see, and this has been a summer of fashion after the "Model as Muse" exhibit debuted at the Met as well. Next up is The September Issue, premiering in theaters late September. You can expect to find me at any of these events

Peggy Guggenheim's Venetian Adventures

The September 2009 issue of Harper's Bazaar is the best issue of a magazine I've ever look at period - and I've read thousands of magazines. This particular spread is based on Peggy Guggenheim and her fantastical life in Venice - the palazzo and world-class art collection included.

This one was shot by Karl Lagerfeld and styled by his own muse Amanda Harlech and Felipe Mendes, modeled by Lara Stone (!)

Saw (500) Days of Summer, became promptly obsessed after the opening credits. Deepened crushes on both Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. "Mehr-ed" out loud and downloaded the soundtrack immediately.
